The game in Beijing was also worth to mention about. 6th ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (16-13) played at the court of seventh ranked Beijing Ducks (16-13). Beijing Ducks did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 97-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Zhejiang Guangsha Lions. The game was mostly controlled by Beijing Ducks. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions was better in third quarter 29-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Beijing Ducks forced 19 Zhejiang Guangsha Lions turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Randolph Morris (211-86, college: Kentucky) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. Swingman Lei Chen (195-83) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Beijing Ducks players scored in double figures. American-Puerto Rican center Peter John Ramos (222-85) answered with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 16 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and Taiwanese swingman Chih-Chieh Lin (192-82) added 14 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Zhejiang Guangsha Lions. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Beijing Ducks moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Zhejiang G.L. and Zhejiang C. Beijing Ducks will play against Liaoning Hunters (#11) in Yingkou in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will play on the road against the league's leader Xinjiang Flying Tige (#1) in Urumqi and hope to get back on the winning track.
