No shocking result in a game in Zagreb where fifth ranked Zabok (9-8) defeated 9th ranked Dubrava (5-12) 87-80. It looked good early as Dubrava took an 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Zabok took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 7 points. They made 24-of-28 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Dubrava was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Robert Lez (200-79) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points. Forward Sasa Jankovic (204-84) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Zabok players scored in double figures. Power forward Dario Saric (205-94) answered with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Domagoj Basic (190-86) added 13 points in the effort for Dubrava. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Zabok moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Dubrovnik. Dubrava at the other side keeps the ninth position with 12 games lost. Zabok will play against higher ranked Alkar Sinj (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dubrava will play against Svjetlost (#8) in Slavonski Brod and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
