Not a big story in a game when 5th ranked Saitama Broncos (14-23) were defeated at home by second ranked Sendai 89ers (23-12) 74-63 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Sendai 89ers. Saitama Broncos was better in fourth quarter 28-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sendai 89ers looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Saitama Broncos were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Americans were the main players on the court also this time.
