The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Jamaican-American forward Kimmani Barrett (198-87, college: La Salle) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and American guard Marcus Johnson (191-87, college: Dayton) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Barrett is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Giessen Pointers players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Jason Holmes (191-86, college: Le Moyne) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and naturalized American forward Kristofer Speier (206-81, college: Lewis-Clark) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
