Fourth-ranked Moycullen (1-18) made lots of trouble for second ranked UCC Demons (13-6) on Saturday. The visitors from Cork managed to secure only one-point victory 78-77. However their fans expected easier game. It was a great evening for the former international forward Niall O'Reilly (196-80) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points. Forward Shane Duggan (-88) helped adding 16 points. At the losing side American forward Mason Ambler (198-85, college: Coker, agency: R.H.Consultancy) responded with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds and guard Dylan Cunningham (195-91) scored 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Moycullen players scored in double figures. UCC Demons occupied the second place in the South. Moycullen lost their thirteenth game in a row. They remained at the bottom of the ladder with 18 games lost.
