There was no surprise in Waregem where 10th ranked Basket Groot (5-14) was crushed by second ranked Declercq Stortbeton (16-3) 75-47 on Saturday. The game without a history. Declercq Stortbeton led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Basket Groot to just 7 points in first quarter. They outrebounded Basket Groot 39-23 including 24 on the defensive glass. Declercq Stortbeton looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Basket Groot's players. Guard Lisa Foucart (170-92) stepped up and scored 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and the former international forward Angele Boucquey (175-81) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds.
