Rather expected game when 9th ranked Takamatsu FA (9-28) was crushed at home by seventh ranked Oita Heat Devils (16-21) 78-57 on Saturday. The game without a history. Oita Heat Devils led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Oita Heat Devils outrebounded Takamatsu FA 46-35 including a 40-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Forward Taj Finger (203-86) had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Cyrus Tate (203-85, college: Iowa, agency: Edge Sports) chipped in 10 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five Oita Heat Devils players scored in double figures. Oita Heat Devils' coach L.J. Hepp felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Forward Jefferey Price (203-85, college: Miss.Valley St.) responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds and center Terrance Farley (208-85, college: Louisville) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Oita Heat Devils maintains seventh position with 16-21 record. Takamatsu FA lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 28 games lost. Oita Heat Devils will have a break next round.
