The most exciting game of round 27 in the LEB Gold took place in Pamplona. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked La Laguna (14-13) to eighth ranked Grupo Iruna Navarra (14-13) 72-69 in the game for the sixth place. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of La Laguna. It was a good game for guard Roma Bas (192-83) who led his team to a victory with 16 points. point guard Inaki Sanz (190-84) contributed with 9 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Grupo Iruna Navarra players scored in double figures. The former international power forward Ricardo Guillen (205-76) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and Argentinian-Italian point guard Nicolas Richotti (181-86) added 14 points in the effort for La Laguna. La Laguna's coach Alejandro Martinez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Grupo Iruna Navarra have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated La Laguna. Grupo Iruna Navarra is looking forward to face Leche Rio Breogan (#12) in Lugo in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. La Laguna will play at home against Fundacion Adepal (#16) in Alcazar and is hoping to win this game.
