Leader Hamamatsu Phoenix recorded the 33th victory on Sunday night. This time they beat 7th ranked Akita Happinets (11-27) 82-65. The game was mostly controlled by Hamamatsu Phoenix. Akita Happinets was better in third quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hamamatsu Phoenix looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Akita Happinets were plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. American players dominated the game. The best player for the winners was forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field).
