Another exciting game was between seventh ranked ADT Tarragona and one of their biggest challengers Plasencia Extremadura where host ADT Tarragona (12-10) won against Plasencia Extremadura (14-9) 76-72. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Plasencia Extremadura. The hosts were already 15 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 26-15 Plasencia Extremadura's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 76-72 at the end of the game. It was a good game for center Eduard Riu (202-82) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). ADT Tarragona moved-up to sixth place. Plasencia Extremadura at the other side dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. ADT Tarragona will play against CB Guadalajara (#12) on the road in the next round where they are favorite.
