Regular Season Round 22: BC Jyvaskyla - Ura Basket 86-82
Date: March 6, 2011
Very expected game when 9th ranked Ura Basket (9-13) lost on the road to second ranked BC Jyvaskyla (17-5) 86-82. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It looked good early as Ura Basket took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then BC Jyvaskyla had a 29-8 second period charge getting the lead and Ura Basket was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 82-86. American forward Tracy Robinson (201-86, college: Loyola (IL)) fired 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Forward Jarno Nissinen (194-77) chipped in 20 points. BC Jyvaskyla's coach Jari Laine used entire bench in such tough game. American forward Carlton Brown (198-79, college: Texas A&M) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman Zach Ramey (191-81, college: Benedictine) added 10 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for lost side. Four Ura Basket players scored in double figures. BC Jyvaskyla have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 17-5 record behind leader FoKoPo. Ura Basket at the other side keeps the ninth place with 13 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
