Regular Season Round 32: Liaoning H. - Beijing Ducks 104-97

Date: March 6, 2011
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Beijing Ducks (16-14) and Liaoning Hunters (13-17), which took place in Yingkou. Higher ranked Beijing Ducks lost to eleventh ranked Liaoning Hunters in a road game 97-104 on Sunday. Beijing Ducks trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 34-30 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 97-104 at the end of the game. The winners were led by international guard Ailun Guo (193-93) who scored that evening 29 points and 8 assists and American power forward Anthony Myles (208-82, college: Xavier) supported him with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Even a double-double of 34 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds by American power forward Randolph Morris (211-86, college: Kentucky) did not help to save the game for Beijing Ducks. His fellow American import swingman Joe Crawford (196-86, college: Kentucky, agency: Priority Sports) added 20 points for the guests. Five Liaoning Hunters and four Beijing Ducks players scored in double figures. Liaoning Hunters moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Shanxi Zh. Loser Beijing Ducks keep the sixth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Bayi and Zhejiang G.L.. Liaoning Hunters will meet league's leader Xinjiang Flying Tige in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Beijing Ducks will play against Jilin Tigers (#13) in Changchun and hope to secure a win.
