There was no surprise when 10th ranked Ironi Ashkelon (4-16) was defeated at home by third ranked Bnei Hasharon (13-7) 89-79 on Sunday. Bnei Hasharon looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Lee Nailon (204-75, college: TCU) who scored 21 points. Guard Ronald Steele (188-86, college: Alabama, agency: SportsTalent) chipped in 13 points and 6 assists. Five Bnei Hasharon players scored in double figures.
