An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kariya. First ranked Aishin Sea Horses faced 4th ranked Toshiba Thunders. Host Aishin Sea Horses (26-10) defeated guests from Kanagawa (17-19) 83-76. The hosts were ahead by 4 points but lost the second period ending it with a 5-point deficit before their 27-15 run, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for the former international power forward Kosuke Takeuchi (205-85) who led his team to a victory with 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Shinsuke Kashiwagi (183-81) contributed with 19 points, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four Aishin Sea Horses players scored in double figures.
