No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Aanekosken Huima (12-10) beat 10th ranked Torpan Pojat (8-14) in Helsinki 102-90. It looked good early as Torpan Pojat took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Aanekosken Huima had a 24-20 second period charge getting the lead and Torpan Pojat was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 90-102. Aanekosken Huima dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Torpan Pojat's 46. Bahamas forward Jamal Douglas (201-85, college: E.Kentucky) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. American guard Treylon Manning (178, college: Texas Coll.) chipped in 22 points. Five Aanekosken Huima players scored in double figures. Center Mikael Sandberg (209-91) produced 21 points and 7 rebounds and forward Juuso Kauppinen (188-94) added 14 points respectively for lost side. Torpan Pojat's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Aanekosken Huima moved-up to fifth place. Newly promoted Torpan Pojat keeps the tenth position with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
