Rather expected game when 8th ranked Miyazaki Shining Suns (12-26) were rolled over at home by fifth ranked Kyoto Hannaryz (20-18) 99-73 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 99-73. Kyoto Hannaryz dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Miyazaki Shining Suns' 50. They outrebounded Miyazaki Shining Suns 59-30 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kyoto Hannaryz looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Miyazaki Shining Suns' players. American players dominated the game. The best player for the winners was guard Wendell White (198-84, college: UNLV) who scored 24 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists.
