There was an upset when higher ranked Ironi Ramat Gan (10-12) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Lev Hasharon (9-13) 91-78 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Lev Hasharon. Ironi Ramat Gan was better in third quarter 26-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lev Hasharon looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Ironi Ramat Gan was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Lev Hasharon moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Kohav Yair. Ironi Ramat Gan at the other side dropped to the seventh position with 12 games lost. Lev Hasharon will face higher ranked Megido/Yokneam (#4) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
