Regular Season Round 33: Xinjiang FT - Liaoning H. 117-92

CBA top team - Xinjiang Flying Tige (30-1) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Liaoning Hunters (13-18) in Urumqi 117-92. The game without a history. Xinjiang Flying Tige led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American guard Quincy Douby (191-84, college: Rutgers) stepped up and scored 36 points (!!!) and 8 assists for the winners and his fellow American import forward James Singleton (203-81, college: Murray St.) chipped in 24 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Five Xinjiang Flying Tige players scored in double figures. Xinjiang Flying Tige's coach XingQuan Jiang felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American guard Myles McKay (191-86, college: WiscKing.-Whitew.) with 26 points and 7 rebounds and international guard Ailun Guo (193-93) scored 18 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Xinjiang Flying Tige have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 30-1 record. Liaoning Hunters at the other side keep the eleventh position with 18 games lost. Xinjiang Flying Tige are looking forward to face Jilin Tigers (#13) in Changchun in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Liaoning Hunters will play on the road against Shandong Bulls in Jinan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
