Very predictable result when first ranked Regal FC Barcelona (20-4) defeated at home 8th ranked Cajasol (13-11) 73-60 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by Regal FC Barcelona. Cajasol was better in third quarter 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Regal FC Barcelona made 22-of-24 free shots (91.7 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Juan Carlos Navarro (192-80) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and the former international center Fran Vazquez (209-83) who added 10 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Regal FC Barcelona players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American center Paul Davis (211-84, college: Michigan St.) with 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American-French forward Tariq Kirksay (199-79, college: Iona) scored 6 points and 6 rebounds.
