Very important is a road loss of Grindavik (15-7) against Keflavik (16-6) on Thursday night. Visiting Grindavik was defeated by Keflavik in Keflavik 86-71. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Grindavik. The game was mostly controlled by Keflavik. Grindavik was better in fourth quarter 23-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Keflavik players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Grindavik's coach Helgi Jonas Gudfinnsson rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Keflavik have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to the third place. Grindavik at the other side dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost.
