Regular Season Round 34: Xinjiang FT - Jilin NE T. 112-102

Leader Xinjiang Flying Tige delivered the 31th victory. This time they beat 13th ranked Jilin Tigers (12-20) 112-102 in Urumqi. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Jilin Tigers. It looked good early as Jilin Tigers took an 9-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Xinjiang Flying Tige took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 10 points. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Quincy Douby (191-84, college: Rutgers) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 51 points (!!!), 10 assists and 4 steals. International guard QingPeng Zhang (189-81) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Xinjiang Flying Tige's coach XingQuan Jiang allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American swingman Tim Pickett (193-81, college: Florida St.) replied with 48 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) and forward Wei Liu (205-85) added 19 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Jilin Tigers. Four Jilin Tigers players scored in double figures. Xinjiang Flying Tige (31-1) have an impressive 14-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Jilin Tigers at the other side dropped to the twelfth place with 20 games lost. They share the position with Shanghai. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
