There was no surprise in Hangzhou where 15th ranked Qingdao Double Star (10-22) was crushed by sixth ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (18-14) 123-102 on Friday. The game without a history. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 60.7 percent from the field. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Qingdao Double Star's players. American-Puerto Rican center Peter John Ramos (222-85) fired a double-double by scoring 29 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners (made all of his seven free throws). Taiwanese swingman Chih-Chieh Lin (192-82) chipped in 31 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Zhejiang Guangsha Lions players scored in double figures. Coach Fei Wang's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. American forward Charles Gaines (201-81, college: S.Mississippi, agency: Gross Zeev ISA) produced 42 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and Jordanian center Zaid Al-Khas (206-76, college: Gannon) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side.
