Black Star (1-19) gave a tough game to Musel Pikes (10-10) in Stadrbredimus on Saturday. Musel Pikes managed to secure only two-point victory 76-74. However their fans expected easier game. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 27-24. But Black Star won second period 19-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Musel Pikes won last quarter 14-13. It was a great evening for the former international guard Guy Schmit (185-80) who led his team to a victory scoring 33 points (!!!). American forward Trenton Wurtz (203-83, college: Indiana St.) helped adding 20 points and 11 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American power forward Billy McDaniel (201-84, college: Ark.-Monticello, agency: JEMsports) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds and the former international swingman Jeff Kirch (195-81) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. Musel Pikes maintains first place in Group B with 10-10 record. Newly promoted Black Star keeps the fourth position with 19 games lost.
