Leader AZS Politechnika Warszawska delivered the twentieth second victory. This time they beat 13th ranked GKS Tychy (7-20) 88-76. The game was mostly controlled by AZS Politechnika Warszawska. GKS Tychy was better in second period 23-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. AZS Politechnika Warszawska players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by GKS Tychy's players. It was a good game for forward Jaroslaw Mokros (201-90) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Patryk Pelka (202-89) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. AZS Politechnika Warszawska's coach Mladen Starcevic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international guard Dawid Witos (190-83, agency: Promotex) answered with 20 points and guard Jacek Jarecki (197-88) added 14 points in the effort for GKS Tychy. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. AZS Politechnika Warszawska maintains first place with 22-5 record. GKS Tychy at the other side keeps the thirteenth position with 20 games lost. They share it with Gornik. AZS Politechnika Warszawska will play against Gornik (#14) in Walbrzych in the next round which should be an easy win for them. GKS Tychy will play on the road against Rosasport in Radom and hopes to get back on the winning track.
