Regular Season Round 27: MKS DG - Rosa Radom 81-76

The game between second ranked Rosasport (19-8) and fourth ranked MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza (19-7) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Rosasport was defeated by MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza in a tough game in Dabrowa Gornicza 76-81. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 81-76. MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Radoslaw Basinski (188-78) who scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Mariusz Piotrkowski (197-84) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Jakub Zalewski (183-86) who recorded 17 points and guard Artur Donigiewicz (185-84) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively. They moved-up to second place, which they share with ISS Sportino. Newly promoted Rosasport dropped to the fourth position with eight games lost. They share it with Sokol Lancut. MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza is looking forward to face league's second-placed ISS Sportino in Inowroclaw in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rosasport will play at home against GKS Tychy and is hoping to win this game.
