Rather predictable result when sixth ranked Sunrise Scafati (15-8) defeated on the road 9th ranked Tuscany Pistoia (10-13) 70-61. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Tuscany Pistoia won fourth quarter 18-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sunrise Scafati made 20-of-26 charity shots (76.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Tuscany Pistoia turnovers. American guard Ronald Davis (190-82, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Patrick Baldassarre (200-86, agency: Players Group) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Sunrise Scafati players scored in double figures. American guard Joseph Forte (193-81, college: N.Carolina, agency: JEMsports) answered with 17 points and power forward Fiorello Toppo (198-80) added 9 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Tuscany Pistoia. Sunrise Scafati moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Immobiliare SR and Barcellona. Tuscany Pistoia at the other side dropped to the tenth position with 13 games lost.
