The game in Svit supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Levice (19-17) played at the court of 8th ranked Svit (15-21). Levice smashed Svit 102-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Svit. It looked good early as Svit took an 4-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Levice had a 23-17 second period charge getting the lead and Svit was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 78-102. Levice dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Svit's 36. They outrebounded Svit 44-27 including a 32-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Levice players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Svit's players. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Esian Henderson (203-86, college: Cent.Missouri) who helped to win the game recording 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and swingman Mike English (194-82, college: UMKC) who added 20 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Forward Christopher Smith (198-82, college: St.Edward's) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and guard Brandis Raley-Ross (188-87, college: S.Carolina) scored 20 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Levice maintains third position with 19-17 record having seven points less than leader Nitra, which they share with Komarno. Svit at the other side dropped to the seventh place with 21 games lost. They share the position with Prievidza and B.Bystrica. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
