Very important is a home loss of third ranked Mineros de Cananea (3-2) against sixth ranked Fuerza Guinda Nogales (3-2) on Friday night. Host Mineros de Cananea was defeated by Fuerza Guinda Nogales in Cananea 97-83. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Mineros de Cananea. The game was mostly controlled by Fuerza Guinda Nogales. Mineros de Cananea managed to win second period 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
