An interesting game took place in Tarragona where higher ranked ADT Tarragona (13-11) was upset on its own court by tenth ranked Regal FC II (11-13) 81-70 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of ADT Tarragona. ADT Tarragona was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. The best player for the winners was forward Souleymane Drame (202-80) who scored 19 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). American forward Reginald Larry (201-86, college: Boise St.) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Xavier Guirao (190-87) produced 16 points, 5 assists and 5 steals and center Eduard Riu (202-82) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. ADT Tarragona's coach Mateo Rubio rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Regal FC II moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Oviedo Feve. ADT Tarragona at the other side keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Prat Juventud. Regal FC II will meet at home higher ranked Promobys Tijola (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. ADT Tarragona will play against the league's second-placed Basquet Mallorca and will have a slim chance for a victory.
