Very predictable result when third ranked Sokol Lancut (20-8) won against at home bottom-ranked Polonia 2011 (5-23) 70-57. The game was mostly controlled by Sokol Lancut. Polonia 2011 was better in second period 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sokol Lancut forced 21 Polonia 2011 turnovers and outrebounded them 41-25 including 28 on the defensive glass. Center Maciej Klima (205-82) fired 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Forward Bartosz Dubiel (195-84) chipped in 19 points and 7 steals. Sokol Lancut's coach Dariusz Kaszowski allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Power forward Wojciech Glabas (207-90) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) and guard Michal Michalak (194-93) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Sokol Lancut maintains third position with 20-8 record having just three points less than leader Tempcold AZS, which they share with Rosasport and ISS Sportino. Polonia 2011 lost eighth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 23 lost games. Sokol Lancut's next round opponent will be LKS Sphinx (#6) in Lodz. Polonia 2011 will play at home against Spojnia (#8) in Stargard and be promoted back to the PLK just one year after relegation.
