Regular Season Round 27: St Quentin - Brest 85-56

The game between third ranked Etendard de Brest (17-10) and eighth ranked Saint-Quentin (15-12) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Etendard de Brest was crushed by Saint-Quentin in Saint-Quentin 56-85. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Etendard de Brest. The game without a history. Saint-Quentin led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Saint-Quentin forced 27 Etendard de Brest turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a good game for forward Julien Lesieu (199-83) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). American guard Keonta Howell (193-85, college: Toledo) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Center Rafael Lopez (204-86) answered with 16 points and 8 rebounds and American power forward Rolan Roberts (201-78, college: S.Illinois, agency: Warren Sports International) added 10 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Etendard de Brest. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Saint-Quentin moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Blois and Sorgues. Etendard de Brest at the other side keeps the third position with ten games lost. They share it with Angers BC 49. Saint-Quentin is looking forward to face bottom-ranked CFBB (#18) in Paris in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Etendard de Brest will play at home against Le Puy ASMB (#9) in Le Puy en Velay and is hoping to win this game.
