Leitershofen was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 40-27 second half run of SC Rasta Vechta. Strangely Leitershofen outrebounded SC Rasta Vechta 32-19 including 26 on the defensive glass. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Eric Reid (185-84, college: Cameron) nailed 26 points and 5 assists for the winning side and forward Marcus King-Stockton (206-85, college: Colorado) accounted for 12 points and 5 rebounds. King-Stockton is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four SC Rasta Vechta players scored in double figures. Center Devin Uskoski (198-85, college: Rocky Mountain) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds and guard Michael Mathey (188-87, college: W.Liberty St.) added 13 points and 6 assists respectively for Leitershofen in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
