Round 28 most important game was a victory of LKS Sphinx over 7th ranked Asecco Prokom 2 77-74 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Asecco Prokom 2. Asecco Prokom 2 cut a 17-point first quarter deficit to three at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Jakub Dluski (200-87) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Marcin Salamonik (202-83) contributed with 18 points and 4 steals for the winners. Guard Grzegorz Mordzak (183-77) replied with 28 points and 5 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and power forward Tomasz Andrzejewski (204-79) added 14 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Asecco Prokom 2. Asecco Prokom 2's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. LKS Sphinx maintains sixth position with 18-10 record. Asecco Prokom 2 at the other side keeps the seventh place with 11 games lost. LKS Sphinx are looking forward to face higher ranked Sokol Lancut (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Asecco Prokom 2 will play against AZS Szczecin (#11) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
