LigaA top team - Obras (20-8) added another victory to their record on Wednesday. This time they beat eighth ranked Atenas (15-13) in Cordoba 66-60. The guests trailed by 10 points at the halftime before their 22-4 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Obras dominated on the defensive end, holding Atenas to just 4 points in third and fourth quarters. It was a quality performance for international power forward Juan Gutierrez (205-83) who led the winners and scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Alexis Elsener (196-88) accounted for 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side.
