The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tallinn: TTU/Kalev (#3) and TTU/Kalev II (#7). TTU/Kalev II was crushed at home by 28 points 62-90 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The game without a history. TTU/Kalev led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to TTU/Kalev II's 32. They also forced 20 TTU/Kalev II turnovers. Guard Margus Klementsov (169-89) fired 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. The former international power forward Kristjan Makke (205-81, college: W.Illinois) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Five TTU/Kalev players scored in double figures. American center Andrew Arnold (208-86, college: Lewis-Clark) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and forward Kiur Akenparg (190-88) added 17 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. TTU/Kalev have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place with 24-7 record having four points less than leader Kalev/Cramo. TTU/Kalev II lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 21 games lost. TTU/Kalev are looking forward to face Rapla (#6) at home in the next round. TTU/Kalev II will have a break next round.
