The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 20-14. But SC Rasta Vechta won second period 18-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American center Devin Uskoski (198-85, college: Rocky Mountain) notched a double-double by scoring 29 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals to lead the effort and guard Jonathan Genck (185-86) supported him with 26 points and 5 rebounds. Even 17 points, 8 assists and 5 steals by American guard Eric Reid (185-84, college: Cameron) did not help to save the game for SC Rasta Vechta. Center Andreas Kronhardt (204-89) added 15 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Four SC Rasta Vechta players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
