Rather expected game in Tallinn where 5th ranked Valga/CKE (13-18) was rolled over by third ranked TTU/Kalev (24-7) 89-66. The game was mostly controlled by TTU/Kalev. Valga/CKE was better in second period 24-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. TTU/Kalev dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Valga/CKE's 36. TTU/Kalev forced 20 Valga/CKE turnovers and outrebounded them 51-40 including 18 on the offensive glass. They brought some defensive toughness making 10 blocks. It was a very good performance for American-DR Congolese forward Bambale Osby (203-86, college: Maryland) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. The former international forward Mooses Kaja (195-88) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Osby is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four TTU/Kalev players scored in double figures. TTU/Kalev's coach Ullar Kerde felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Derek Winston (185-87, college: Oklahoma I.) answered with 26 points and the other American import forward Anthony Brown (203-86, college: Oklahoma St.) added 11 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Valga/CKE. TTU/Kalev have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place with 24-7 record having four points less than leader Kalev/Cramo. Valga/CKE at the other side keeps the fifth position with 18 games lost. They share it with Rapla. TTU/Kalev will play against Rapla (#6) at home in the next round. Valga/CKE will play against KK Parnu and hopes to get back on the winning track.
