Shiga Lakestars defeated Kyoto Hannaryz 95-83 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Kyoto Hannaryz. The game without a history. Shiga Lakestars led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The winners were led by American power forward Gary Hamilton (208-84, college: Miami, FL) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points, 17 rebounds and 8 assists and the other American import forward Josh Peppers (201-85, college: Cent.Florida, agency: Court Side) supported him with 24 points and 6 rebounds. Shiga Lakestars' coach Haruyuki Ishibashi used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 20 points, 22 rebounds and 7 assists by American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida) did not help to save the game for Kyoto Hannaryz. Guard Kyosuke Setoyama (187-82) added 16 points and 4 assists for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Shiga Lakestars moved-up to fourth place. Loser Kyoto Hannaryz dropped to the fifth position with 19 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
