Seventeenth-ranked Menorca Basquet (5-22) used its home court advantage to challenge fifth ranked Caja Laboral (17-10) in Mahon. The visitors from Vitoria managed to secure only one-point victory 77-76. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests were ahead by 1 point but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 25-22 run, which allowed them to win the game. Caja Laboral's next round opponent will be Asefa Estudiantes (#11) in Madrid and are hoping to win another game. Menorca Basquet will play on the road against Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (#8) in Madrid.
