There was no surprise when 15th ranked Enel Brindisi (7-16) was crushed on the road by thirteenth ranked Fabi Shoes Montegranaro (10-13) 96-54 on Sunday. The game without a history. Fabi Shoes Montegranaro led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Fabi Shoes Montegranaro forced 19 Enel Brindisi turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 63.6 percentage. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Michele Antonutti (203-86) who scored 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American guard Ryan Toolson (193-85, college: Utah Valley St.) chipped in 21 points. Four Fabi Shoes Montegranaro players scored in double figures. Coach Stefano Pillastrini's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest.
