Second Stage Round 2: Trogir - Dubrava 78-68

Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Dubrava (0-2) was defeated on the road by top-ranked Trogir (2-0) 78-68. They made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Trogir outrebounded Dubrava 24-13 including a 24-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Guard Milan Karakas (190-80) orchestrated the victory with a triple-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Forward Luka Zitko (201-81) contributed with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international swingman Nino Primorac (195-82) replied with 20 points and 4 assists and power forward Dario Saric (205-94) added 12 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Dubrava. Dubrava's coach Boris Gnjidic let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Trogir keeps a position of Group B leader, which they share with Kvarner 2010 and Svjetlost. Dubrava at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. Trogir's next round opponent will be Vrijednosnice OS (#4) in Darda. Dubrava will play on the road against Dubrovnik and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
