Regular Season Round 32: Parnu - Valga 76-77

Eighth-ranked KK Parnu (8-24) used its home court advantage to challenge fifth ranked Valga/CKE (14-18). The visitors from Valga managed to secure only one-point victory 77-76. However their fans expected easier game. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But KK Parnu won third quarter 21-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded KK Parnu 43-23 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international swingman Veljo Vares (200-81) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Anthony Brown (203-86, college: Oklahoma St.) who added 9 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Guard Martin Paasoja (189-93) responded with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and forward Toomas Raadik (198-90) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Four KK Parnu players scored in double figures. Valga/CKE maintains fifth position with 14-18 record. KK Parnu lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 24 games lost.
