The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Hapoel T-A (22-3) in Tel-Aviv on Tuesday night. Hosts were edged by twelfth ranked Hod Hasharon (9-16) 85-84. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hapoel T-A. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Jitim Young (188-81, college: Northwestern, agency: Edge Sports) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Koby Sharvit (195-84) contributed with 17 points for the winners. American forward Brian Asbury (200-86, college: Miami, FL) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and the former international forward Matan Naor (194-80) added 16 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Hapoel T-A. Hod Hasharon maintains twelfth place with 9-16 record. Newly promoted Hapoel T-A still keeps top position with three games lost. Hod Hasharon are looking forward to face league's second-placed Maccabi HBK in Habikaa in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hapoel T-A will play on the road against Lev Hasharon and is hoping to win this game.
