Regular Season Round 32: Tarvas - Voru KK 90-85

Date: March 29, 2011
No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked BC Rakvere (16-16) beat at home bottom-ranked Voru KK (1-31) 90-85 on Tuesday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The winners were led by American guard Matthew Hall (191-86, college: Stonehill) who scored that evening 19 points and the other American import swingman Brett McGee (198-84, college: Mt.Mercy) supported him with 9 points and 10 rebounds. Hall is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. BC Rakvere's coach Andreas Sober used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Even a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds by American guard Curtis Allen (193-85, college: ORU) did not help to save the game for Voru KK. Guard Tanel Kimask (180-85) added 23 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Four Voru KK players scored in double figures. BC Rakvere maintains fourth position with 16-16 record. Voru KK lost eighteenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 31 lost games.
