Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Buenos Aires: Lanus (#3) and Boca Juniors (#12). Lanus (18-11) won against visiting Boca Juniors (12-18) 75-66. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was American center Terrell Taylor (203-81, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Dream Team Management) who scored 20 points. Panamanian power forward Jamaal Levy (206-83, college: Wake Forest, agency: Priority Sports) chipped in 6 points and 7 rebounds.
