Regular Season Round 26: Trenkwalder RE - Novipiu Casale 76-65

There was a change at the Lega2 leadership position after last games. Round 26 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Fastweb CM (18-8). They were defeated by fourteenth ranked Trenkwalder RE (9-17) 76-65 on Friday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Fastweb CM. Fastweb CM was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 25-12 charge of Trenkwalder RE, which allowed them to win the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Fastweb CM helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Dawan Robinson (189-82, college: Rhode Island) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Troy Bell (186-80, college: Boston Coll.) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Trenkwalder RE players scored in double figures. American guard Ricky Hickman (190-85, college: NC-Greensboro, agency: Court Side) responded with 16 points and the former international guard Matteo Malaventura (196-78) scored 16 points.
