Second Stage Round 3: Darda - Trogir 83-63

Round 3 in A1 means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Darda where host Vrijednosnice OS (2-2) crushed league's leader Trogir (3-1) 83-63 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Trogir. The game was mostly controlled by Vrijednosnice OS. Trogir managed to win third quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game, while Trogir only scored five points from the stripe. The best player for the winners was center Ivan Krolo (217-83) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds. Forward Antonio Bicvic (199-82) chipped in 17 points. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Luka Zitko (201-81) who recorded 21 points and 7 rebounds and guard Milan Karakas (190-80) added 10 points and 12 assists respectively. Five Vrijednosnice OS and four Trogir players scored in double figures. Vrijednosnice OS moved-up to third place in Group B, which they share with Dubrava and Svjetlost. Trogir at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They share it with Kvarner 2010. They were replaced at the leadership position by KK Zagreb CO. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
