Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Aget Imola (12-14) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Snaidero Udine (17-9) 78-71 on Sunday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Snaidero Udine made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Snaidero Udine outrebounded Aget Imola 36-24 including 21 on the defensive glass. Clint Cotis Harrison scored 24 points and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Finnish-American forward Gerald Lee (208-87, college: ODU) chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Snaidero Udine players scored in double figures. The former international forward Davide Bruttini (203-87) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Trent Whiting (185-76, college: BYU) scored 19 points. Snaidero Udine moved-up to third place, which they share with Sunrise Scafati and Barcellona. Loser Aget Imola keeps the ninth position with 14 games lost. Snaidero Udine will face league's second-placed Fastweb CM in Casale in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Aget Imola will play at home against Fileni BPA (#8) in Jesi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
