Very expected game when 17th ranked CB Granada (5-23) was defeated at home by second ranked Real Madrid (22-6) 73-65 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-65. Real Madrid had a 28-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Italian-Argentinian guard Pablo Prigioni (191-77) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 8 assists and Croatian center Ante Tomic (217-87) who added 14 points during the contest. Four Real Madrid players scored in double figures. At the losing side Argentinian-Italian guard Nicolas Gianella (187-78) responded with 19 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and American guard Coby Karl (196-83, college: Boise St.) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Real Madrid maintains second position with 22-6 record behind leader Regal Barca. CB Granada lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth place with 23 games lost. Real Madrid will face league's leader Regal FC Barcelona at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. CB Granada will play against Blancos de Rueda (#8) in Valladolid.
