Very expected game when 17th ranked CB Granada (5-23) was defeated at home by second ranked Real Madrid (22-6) 73-65 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-65. Real Madrid had a 28-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Italian-Argentinian guard Pablo Prigioni (191-77) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 8 assists and Croatian center Ante Tomic (217-87) who added 14 points during the contest. Four Real Madrid players scored in double figures. At the losing side Argentinian-Italian guard Nicolas Gianella (187-78) responded with 19 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and American guard Coby Karl (196-83, college: Boise St.) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds.
