Undefeated leader Olympiakos delivered the twentieth second consecutive win on Sunday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked VAP Kolossos (11-12) 93-63 in Athens. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of VAP Kolossos. The game without a history. Olympiakos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to VAP Kolossos' 36. Olympiakos forced 23 VAP Kolossos turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by VAP Kolossos helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was international center Ioannis Bourousis (212-83, agency: FCM) who scored 20 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). International center Loukas Mavrokefalides (207-84) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Five Olympiakos players scored in double figures. Naturalized American swingman Pat Kalathis (208-85, college: St.Joseph's) produced 16 points and 6 rebounds and guard Angelos Tsamis (192-81) added 10 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Olympiakos (22-0) have an impressive series of twenty two victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 22 victories in a row. VAP Kolossos at the other side keeps the sixth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Kavala. Olympiakos are looking forward to face Kavala (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game.
